Orange Marmalade Salmon Recipe

Orange Marmalade

  • 1 orange

  • ½ cup of orange juice

  • ¼ cup of brown sugar

  • 2 garlic gloves

  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper

  • 1 green onion



  • 1 salmon, 6.oz

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper

  • 1 half of fresh spring onion

  • 3 tablespoons of orange marmalade sauce



Orange Marmalade

  1. Squeeze juice from oranges or use ½ cup of orange juice

  2. Add juice with brown sugar, minced garlic cloves, sea salt, black pepper, and diced green onions into a bowl and mix well

  3. Preheat small saucepan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes

  4. Add all ingredients to the pan and bring to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes

  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving



  1. Preheat a large, heavy skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes

  2. Coat salmon with olive oil. Place in skillet and increase heat to high. Cook for 3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and other desired seasonings

  3. Turn salmon over and cook for another 5 minutes, or until browned. Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork

  4. Add orange glaze on top of salmon until warmed

  5. Transfer salmon to plate and garnish with sliced fresh spring onions and orange zest
